What cookies and similar technologies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Other technologies, including browser storage and embedded scripts, can serve related purposes.

Some help a website function or remember a choice. Others measure visits, connect to third-party content or support advertising. The purpose matters more than the label “cookie”.

A cookie does not by itself upload your CAD file. Project files are supplied through a separate enquiry or file-sharing action; read the Privacy Policy and arrange confidentiality where needed.

Understand the categories

Cookie settings separates functional technologies from optional preferences, statistics and marketing purposes.

The purpose of a technology determines its treatment. A category name alone does not establish that consent is unnecessary. The choices displayed by the consent manager apply to your current browser.

Review your preferences

Open Cookie settings to review the available categories and change your choices.

  • Reject optional categories if you do not want optional preferences, statistics or marketing.
  • Review individual categories and save the choices you want to make.
  • Accept optional categories only if that is your preference.
  • Return to Cookie settings whenever you want to change or withdraw an optional choice.

Third-party content and services

Embedded content can involve another organisation as well as the website you are visiting.

Embedded media, anti-spam tools, analytics and advertising services can involve another organisation. Review the service provider, purpose and privacy information before enabling optional functionality.

Independent providers process information under their own terms. Where we determine a service's use, we remain responsible for selecting an appropriate provider, configuring the service consistently with the stated choice and supplying the information and rights required by law.

Your browser offers separate controls

You can also review, remove or limit stored website data through your browser settings.

Deleting cookies may remove a saved preference and cause a website to ask again. Blocking all cookies can affect functions that depend on browser storage. A choice on one device or browser may not apply on another.

Changing a setting affects future behaviour within that setting's scope; it does not automatically undo information that has already been processed.

Common questions

Do I have to accept every category?

You can reject optional categories or review them separately in Cookie settings. Functional technologies needed for a service you request are handled separately.

Is analytics consent the same as submitting an enquiry?

No. Measuring website use and handling an enquiry are different purposes. An enquiry requires the contact and project information needed to respond; optional marketing and statistics choices are separate.

Where can I review or change my choices?

Open Cookie settings from this page or the site's consent control. Review the categories, save a new selection or withdraw optional consent. The choice applies to the current browser.

Why am I asked again on another device?

Consent information can be stored in the browser. Another browser or device may not have that record. Clearing website data may also remove the saved choice.
