WHY PROLEANMFG

Keep your next assembly moving.

A robot’s performance depends on how its parts work together. Build around the interfaces that connect motion, sensing and structure.

01

Test the fit in hardware

Turn CAD geometry into physical components for assembly, access and motion checks before the next design revision.

02

Keep connected features together

Bring bores, locating faces, threads and mounting patterns into the same machining and inspection plan.

03

Develop the supporting structure

Source machined interfaces alongside sheet metal guards, brackets and covers for the wider assembly.

APPLICATIONS & COMPONENTS

Parts that connect motion,
sensing and structure.

From a single end effector to the hardware around a complete automation cell.

01

Joints & motion interfaces

Joint housings, shaft adapters, spacers and bearing carriers connect rotating components to the robot structure.

HOW IT SUPPORTS THE ASSEMBLY

Bores, shoulders and locating faces work together to position mating parts.

02

Grippers & end effectors

Custom fingers, tool plates, jaws and adapter blocks bring the tool to the task.

HOW IT SUPPORTS THE ASSEMBLY

Contact geometry, fasteners and tool clearance support the intended grip and motion.

03

Sensor mounts & frames

Camera mounts, sensor brackets, frame plates and protective covers support the surrounding hardware.

HOW IT SUPPORTS THE ASSEMBLY

Mounting patterns, adjustment access and cable clearance help the assembly fit together.

MANUFACTURING SUPPORT

The process behind
the component.

Connect geometry, material and finish to the route that makes the part.

FROM DESIGN TO BUILD

Make the next prototype
an assembly decision.

Choose what the build needs to demonstrate, then use the component to answer that question.

  1. 01

    Fit & access

Check mating geometry, fastener access and clearance with the surrounding parts.

    Assembly sample

  2. 02

    Motion & contact

Use your test setup to evaluate travel, tool contact and interference.

    Functional evaluation

  3. 03

    Repeat builds

Carry the accepted drawing revision, finish and critical dimensions into the next order.

MATERIALS & FINISHES

Match the material
to the component’s job.

Explore the starting points below, then select the exact grade and condition for your design.

Material familyComponent examplesSelection considerations
Aluminum alloysJoint housings, tool plates and sensor mounts.Low component mass and machined interface features.
Steel & stainless steelShafts, bushings, contact parts and fixtures.Strength, wear, corrosion and surface condition.
Engineering plasticsGuides, spacers, protective parts and prototypes.Contact behavior, weight and the operating environment.

Bring the finish
into the part design.

Anodizing, plating and other finishes can change a fit or contact surface. Coordinate finish allowances and masking with the assembled condition.

QUALITY & INSPECTION

Give critical features
the attention they need.

Inspect the bores, datums and feature relationships that locate the assembly. Identify the fits and contact faces that matter so the inspection scope supports the way the part will be used.

  • Drawing-based dimensional inspection
  • Material and finish requirements in the component review
  • Project-specific reporting agreed with your order

Your questions.
Practical answers.

Can you make custom gripper and end-effector parts?
Yes. Share the CAD model, drawing, material and quantity for fingers, jaws, tool plates or adapters. Include contact surfaces and mating details that affect the assembly.
Can I order a prototype before a repeat run?
Share the sample quantity and likely next build. The quote can address the prototype and repeat requirements separately, including design revisions and inspection needs.
What helps you review bearing and shaft interfaces?
Include the mating parts or fit requirements, datum scheme and the dimensions that connect bores, shoulders and mounting faces.
Can I arrange an NDA before sharing a design?
Contact the team to arrange an NDA before sending the files. The contact page and quote page are linked below.
